How do I book a home consultation and do you charge a fee?
To book a home consultation, give us a call, email us or contact us through the ‘contact us’ page. Home consultations are free of charge and without obligation. Once we have measured your windows, we will show you a range of shutter samples, helping you to design your shutters perfectly. We can then give you a fixed quotation for your preferred option. This process generally takes around 30-40 minutes.
How do I place my order and is there any deposit required?
Once you decide to go ahead we will confirm the style, colour and price to ensure everything is correct. We then take a 50% deposit which can be paid by bank transfer, debit or credit card in-home, cash or cheque. The rest of the payment is taken on the day of the installation.
What do I do before Installation?
Please clear the window sills and the floor area in front of the windows.
Are shutters a blackout product?
The short answer is no, not 100%. However, our shutters are the finest on the market and so the light gaps are minimised. If you are concerned about light getting through, we can integrate blackout blinds in some ranges.
Can you fit shutters to bay windows?
Yes. Shutters look fantastic on bay windows and we are very good at fitting them.
What colour are your shutters?
Every shutter type comes with a set number of colours which you can view at home. Pure shutters also colour match Dulux and Farrow & Ball paint brands ( additional fees apply).
Can I have shutters in my bathroom?
Yes! We fit uPVC shutters in bathrooms or rooms with high levels of moisture. They are waterproof and can be fitted with rust proof marine grade stainless steel hinges.
Do you have different sized louvres and different types of tilt control?
Yes, we have many sizes of louvres and three types of tilt rod control. However, don’t worry as this will all be explained to you during the home visit.
Do you offer a guarantee on your shutters?
All shutters include a 3 year Care Plan Guarantee with every shutter. This gives you peace of mind that in the unlikely event of a fault, we will be right over to have your shutters back in working order as soon as possible.
Can you really offer shutters in just 3 weeks?
It is standard throughout our industry for shutters to be delivered and installed in 8, 10 or 12 weeks. However, we do offer an express service where we usually install our shutters in around 3 weeks from the day of order (fees apply).
